Start with a YouTube URL or uploaded video file. ClipX is optimized for spoken long-form content where hooks and payoffs are hidden inside a longer conversation.
Review AI-ranked Shorts
ClipX suggests segments that can stand alone in a feed, then ranks them so you can start with the highest-potential clips.
Format for short-form platforms
Pick 9:16 vertical, adjust captions and crop, add text, and keep the speaker framed for mobile viewers.
Export and post
Download MP4 clips for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels, or other feeds. Free exports include ClipX branding; Pro exports clean clips.

Frequently asked questions
Can ClipX generate YouTube Shorts automatically?
ClipX suggests Shorts-length segments automatically, but you stay in control. Review the ranked list, adjust timing or captions if needed, then export the clips you want to publish.
What kinds of videos work best?
Podcasts, interviews, tutorials, webinars, livestream highlights, reaction videos, and educational content work best because they contain many self-contained ideas or stories.
Can I use one video for TikTok and Reels too?
Yes. The same clip can be exported in vertical formats suitable for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels.
Does the free version include captions?
Yes. Captions and the editor are available on the free tier, along with an in-app preview of every clip. Exporting the finished file is what Pro unlocks.
