OpusClip vs Vizard
At $29 a month, or $174 a year, Vizard Creator includes 600 minutes of video against 300 on OpusClip Pro, and its free plan lets you edit. OpusClip is the pick for a cheaper $15 entry plan, uploads up to 10 hours, prompt-based clip finding and a deeper editing toolkit. Vizard suits volume and teams; OpusClip suits creators who want more control per clip.
Facts checked on 2026-11-04 on each vendor's own site. ClipX is not affiliated with OpusClip or Vizard.
What is OpusClip?
OpusClip is one of the best-known AI clippers. It ingests a long recording, finds the moments its model rates highest, and returns vertical clips with animated captions and an automatic reframe. Each clip carries a Virality Score on paid plans, and Pro users can describe what they want in a prompt or search by topic instead of taking the default picks.
Beyond clipping, OpusClip now sells a broad editing suite: text and timeline editing, AI and stock B-roll, AI voice-over, filler and bad-take removal, eye contact correction, dubbing and export to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. It has an iOS app, a team workspace on Pro and a Business tier with SSO and a dedicated processing queue.
What is Vizard?
Vizard, made by Vizard, Corp., covers the same ground: upload or paste a link, get AI-picked clips with subtitles, reframing, emojis and keyword highlights. Its API documentation lists more than a dozen link sources, from YouTube and Twitch to Loom, StreamYard and LinkedIn, and caps a source at 600 minutes and 10GB.
Vizard leans toward marketers and teams. Its plans are named Creator and Business, the Business tier adds a shared workspace, brand kit and paid extra seats, and every plan, Free included, has API access with a rate limit. It ships apps on both the App Store and Google Play, and its free plan includes full access to the video editor.

Pricing: the same sticker, different minutes
As of November 4, 2026, the most common plan on each side costs the same. OpusClip Pro and Vizard Creator are both $29 on monthly billing and both $174 a year, shown as $14.5 a month. The difference is what you get for it. OpusClip Pro includes 300 credits a month, and Vizard Creator starts at 600. Both define a credit as one minute of video, so the same money buys about 5 hours of source video a month on OpusClip and about 10 hours on Vizard. OpusClip lets unused credits roll over for 2 months.
Below that, OpusClip has a cheaper door: Starter at $15 a month, monthly billing only, with 150 credits, or about 2.5 hours. Vizard has no plan between Free and Creator. Above it, Vizard Business is $39 a month or $234 a year with extra seats at $5 a month each, while OpusClip Business has custom pricing. Vizard also sells larger Creator and Business credit levels on yearly billing.
Both free plans give 60 credits, which is one hour of video a month. The difference is in what you can do with it. Vizard Free lets you edit and export at 720p, with 3-day storage. OpusClip Free renders up to 1080p but includes no editing, adds a watermark to the captions and lets you export clips for only 3 days.
Clip finding and clip length
OpusClip gives you more ways to steer the picks. Every plan can set the timeframe and the clip length, Starter adds the Virality Score and a reprompt, and Pro adds topic search, a free-text prompt and a model that weighs visual objects, sound and emotion as well as speech. Clip lengths run from under a minute to 10-15 minutes, which suits long podcast segments and YouTube cut-downs.
Vizard keeps the controls lighter. Its API documentation lists five clip-length settings, from automatic to 90 seconds through 3 minutes, which covers TikTok, Reels and Shorts. If you need clips longer than 3 minutes, OpusClip is the one that offers them.
Editing and captions
Vizard opens its editor on the Free plan, and its feature table lists auto subtitles, subtitle translation, AI emojis, keyword highlights, AI B-rolls, custom templates and custom fonts. Paid plans add SRT transcript downloads and 4K export. OpusClip keeps editing for paying users. Starter adds text and timeline editing, text overlays, filler and pause removal and AI upscaling, and Pro adds music, uploaded media, transitions, AI sound effects, speech enhancement, eye contact correction and dubbing.
For captions, OpusClip's plan card lists animated captions in 20+ languages, and Pro can censor curse words from a default list. Vizard's pricing page lists subtitle translation without a language count. If you work outside English, try a short video on each first.
Long videos and streams
OpusClip's help center says it supports videos up to 10 hours, and Copilot lets you clip only a time range of a longer file. Twitch links are in its Pro import list. Vizard's paid plans take uploads of up to 600 minutes, or 10 hours, while Free stops at 60 minutes, and Twitch is one of the link types in its API documentation.
For a full-length stream the two are close on paper. The practical limit is the credit balance: a 4-hour VOD uses about 240 credits on either tool, which is most of an OpusClip Pro month and well under half of a Vizard Creator month.
Publishing, teams and the API
OpusClip Starter posts to YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram. Pro adds Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Threads and Bluesky, a scheduler and several profiles per platform. Vizard connects 1 social account on Free, 6 on Creator and 20 on Business, with scheduled posts from Creator up. OpusClip Pro includes a team workspace with 2 seats per pack; Vizard puts its shared workspace on Business.
Vizard gives every plan API access and limits it by rate, from 1 request a minute on Free to 10 a minute on Business. OpusClip offers its video editing and scheduler APIs and an MCP connector from Pro, and saves custom integrations and CMS import for Business. For a developer testing an idea before paying, Vizard is easier to start with.

Another way to look at it: ClipX
ClipX makes the same kind of 9:16 clips, with a focus on game streams. You paste a Twitch or Kick VOD, a YouTube video or live replay, or a Vimeo link, or upload an MP4, MOV, MKV or WebM file of up to 500 MB. ClipX finds moments in the speech and the reactions, so it works best when people talk. It does not read the HUD, the minimap or any on-screen text.
You can try ClipX on a free plan: process, edit and preview clips, then move to Pro for exports. Pro starts at $4.99 for the first month and then costs $20 a month, or $200 a year.
- A stream of up to 12 hours on Pro, handled one part at a time: you pick a range of up to 3 hours, and paste the link again for the next range.
- Gaming / stream selection puts the players' voices ahead of in-game characters, keeps the build-up with the reaction, and aims for clips of about 20 seconds or more.
- Facecam + Video stacks the webcam above the gameplay and finds the webcam box itself when its edges are clear.
- Autopilot follows a YouTube channel and clips the new uploads.
- Where OpusClip and Vizard go further: both have an API, and both publish to several networks. ClipX publishes directly to YouTube Shorts only and has no API.
Free plan to try it: process, edit and preview. Exports need Pro, $4.99 for the first month, then $20/month.
